Ourcology, Inc. was founded by Aurelio Martinez, who established the company after several unsuccessful attempts to trace his family tree. Despite his efforts, he could only trace his family back to his grandparents and only knew about his grandmother on his father’s side. The other three grandparents were just names, and he had never met them or seen their photos.
Aurelio Martinez realized the significance of preserving one’s legacy and history for future generations. He stated, “It’s wonderful that my great-grandson’s children and generations after that will be able to see what I looked and sounded like.” Therefore, he recommends not waiting until old age to document one’s life on video. Instead, adding periodic videos at different stages of life will allow future generations to witness how you have evolved over time. As we never know when our time will come to leave this world, it’s crucial to start documenting our lives as soon as possible.
